NFL 2008-09 Season

I'm at the point that I wouldn't know how to act if the Lions actually became a team that played over .500. Now that I think about it, I was upset during the "salad" days of Wayne Fontes. It may be more fun being able to criticize this team's every move. It certainly is easier.

Lions leading 6-3 just about half time.

Yes, maybe the only reliable player that they have will kick them to a win.
I really feel bad for Jason Hansen, having to play on a losing team his whole career.

What a cheap shot block that Detroit's O-Lineman committed against Jared Allen. I hope Allen's okay, but it looked like it could be pretty serious.

Vikings Up 17-16 2 and change left.
Ferrote is out with injury.

Edit: 20-16 Vikings :16 left, the win(less) streak continues.
Colts, Saints and Pack are left for the Lions ...

Make it 0-13 for Detroit.

IMO, this may have been their best shot at a win- the Colts are on a hot streak, the Saints can light up Detroit, and they haven't won in Green Bay since 1991.

Thoughts on the Early Sunday Games:

1. Giants were due to lose one....keeps the Eagles slim playoff hopes alive.

2. Saints survive a shootout with the Falcons...Saints in the same boat as Eagles.

3. Lions do their best but again are denied at the end, 3 games left.

4. Overall a bunch of vanilla games, hopefully the late games are better on the entertainment scale.

GB and Texans has been good.
Texans got the ball at thier 1 with 2 left and a tie score and have moved the ball down inside the Packs 30, and kick a FG to win it 24-21

In a few years, Houston will be a team to be reckoned with.

Schaub, Andre Johnson, Slaton, Mario Williams, Demeco Ryans- that is a good nucleus.
