NFL 2007-08 Season

]Throwing a new QB behind that horrid O-Line is certainly the worst possible way to try and groom a QB for the future. Kitna took 51 sacks this year, more than any other QB in the NFL.[/B] Not even Peyton Manning or Tom Brady could have success behind such a line! The kid would be shell shocked and would end up like Tim Couch! Build the line first.

Trust me when I say this, because my Brown's have tried and blamed the QB for everything in the past. This year however, we finally are starting to realize that the O-Line makes the QB, not the other way around.

That's why I said it's time for fresh meat. Starting QB's around here have a life span of only 2 seasons. Until the Ford's hire a real football GM, dysfunction will continue. Like Jimbo said, when we do draft linemen around here, they either leave on a stretcher, or via free agency. (Like any real talent we ever draft does.) By the way I've been touting that the proper way to build a team is from the line of scrimmage out, for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately I'm not on the Lion's payroll. I certainly couldn't do any worse of a job than Millen has.

I'll give you a vote for GM, if ya split the GM pay with me, I'll actually be a sounding board for you !

When did every Sport's Team in Ohio turned into the Buffalo Bills?

I really don't know how much more I can take of this :( .....

Is it too early to get ready for Cleveland's inaugural Arena Football season yet? The Cleveland Gladiator's, headed by local cult icon, Bernie Kosar, will begin their season in March......

Cincy and Cleveland could only hope to go to 4 SB's in that short of a time frame.

Close but no cigar....

5 out of 7 got to the CHAMPIONSHIP round in thier perspective sport.
the 6th the Indians were in the playoffs and the Browns were only a game from making them.
I'd say all and all a pretty damn good year for Ohio sports.
I can name hundreds of other cities that would love to have that kind of success.
No Championships, but they were very competative, if the Lions were to get to the playoffs that would be a huge improvement, they would be estatic.

Hardly anything to lose sleep over.

Don't get me wrong. I greatly appreciate being a part of the tremendous sport's season that Ohio had to offer in '07, but to be honest, it was all just a tease. Us NE Ohio fans need to stop settling for second best and one of our teams need to jump that Championship hurdle once and for all. Remember, Cleveland is the most deprived sport's city in the entire country with the Brown's being the last winner in 1964.

We're on the fringe. Now let's finish the deal! Go Brown's in 2008!

You should feel lucky, Pitt football sucks, at least you made it to the BCS Championship.
'07- OSU Basketball- NCAA Championship: Loss

Once again you should feel lucky...Pitt lost in the sweet 16, and with two major injuries this year, they'll be lucky to make the NIT.:(
'07- OSU Soccer- NCAA Championship: Loss
Sorry don't follow soccer.
'07- Cav's- NBA Championship: Loss

Sorry don't have a home BB team I watch, so I root for Shaq.

'07- Indian's- ALCS: Loss (Up 3-1 in 7 game series)

Once again you should feel lucky, try being a Pirates fan, 15 years going on 16 years straight losing seasons.:(

'07- Brown's- Missed playoffs despite 10 wins season

Brownies just suck, next year will be worse for you, you'll have a 10-6 schedule instead of a losing team schedule.:D

I guess I'm talking to Detroit and Pittsburgh fans who're used to loosing ;), but you guys get what I'm trying to say. I want a Championship dammit! Pitt, you have the '79 Pirates, '06 Steelers and '92 Penguins. Detroit, you have the '84 Tigers, '02 Red Wings and the '89/'90 Piston's. Cleveland has 1964! :(

All in all, '07 was indeed Ohio's best Sport's Season EVER! If the Brown's made the playoffs this year, it would've been the first time EVER that all 3 Cleveland Teams made the playoffs in the same year. If the Indian's won 1 more game against Boston, it would've been the first time EVER that 2 of our teams made it to the Championship in the same season. All I'm saying is that we really need to take advantage when we have the opportunity as we all know the window for success is very few and far between for most sport's teams these days...

Tom, we're just talking about each team's last year to win the "Big Sausage". Stop showing off....

For Cleveland it's:

Browns- 1964
Indians- 1948
Cav's- Never

Boo Hoo, move out of Cleveland and come to Detroit, we're hoping for 3 titles this season. Red Wings, Pistons, and the Tigers. I also like MSU's basketball chances, as well as Michigan's hockey team. As for the Lion's, well you've seen my opinions on them, absolutely hopeless. At least your Browns are heading in the right direction. We won 7 games and aren't any better than last season.

That's right! How'd I forget the Piston's? Tough loss for you last year in the Eastern Conference Finals when LeBron went off, huh?! :D

DO you REALLY think your in the class of the Pats and Colts, and possibly even the Jags or Steelers ...

The Browns would never get by the Pats and Colts.
The Steelers got by Denver & Colts in thier championship year.

And the 97 and 98 Red Wings, I think those were the back to back years, could be wrong by a year.
