Kitna took 51 sacks this year, more than any other QB in the NFL.[/B] Not even Peyton Manning or Tom Brady could have success behind such a line! The kid would be shell shocked and would end up like Tim Couch! Build the line first.
Trust me when I say this, because my Brown's have tried and blamed the QB for everything in the past. This year however, we finally are starting to realize that the O-Line makes the QB, not the other way around.
That's why I said it's time for fresh meat. Starting QB's around here have a life span of only 2 seasons. Until the Ford's hire a real football GM, dysfunction will continue. Like Jimbo said, when we do draft linemen around here, they either leave on a stretcher, or via free agency. (Like any real talent we ever draft does.) By the way I've been touting that the proper way to build a team is from the line of scrimmage out, for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately I'm not on the Lion's payroll. I certainly couldn't do any worse of a job than Millen has.
