I just purchased a car with Sirius satellite radio, and am looking for a home unit. It looks like the XM MI FY would work perfectly for me. Is there anything comparable in Sirius? I generally only listen to the radio with headphones at night in bed, so I don't need great fidelity. I am guessing that a unit like the Here to Everywhere types need an FM receiver, but will they transmit through something like a clock radio that has an earphone jack? I am looking for somethin as compact as possible. I apologize for my ignorance, but would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

Welcome to SatelliteGuys.us. :D

Sirius has the S50 debuting the week of October 17 at the major retailers. There is a thread already started on the S50 here with all available information from Sirius. There also has been increasing evidence of the Xact ReGo coming to market. Wal-Mart now has the ReGo on the Wal-Mart online store, but says "out of stock". There have been a few other recent online retailers taking pre-orders.

There are other options such as a home kit for a Sirius radio that transmits the FM signal to a radio in your bedroom from another room. I personally know that the Sportster will transmit a Sirius signal to all rooms of a house and yard.

Enjoy.

Is sirius going to have a better in-home option (in terms of a stereo receiver with it built in, like xm has) before january? I'm surprised I don't see them already, not everyone wants or needs another handheld unit...
