Newbie HD Antenna Ques.

I am not too familiar with the HD OTA thing. I currently have Directv and do not get locals in HD. I would greatly appreciate any input as to what antenna might work best for me. TV is located in the basement.

Looks like you will be able to get NBC and Fox without a problem. I use a Channelmaster 4228 and like it. It is UHF only. Your CBS is VHF and 50 miles away so yopu may have trouble with it. Will your antenna be mountede on your roof? Not familiar with VHF antennas, Maybe someone else will give you advice. There are alot of members here that will steer you in the right direction.
