Each night after going to bed my new Wally loses connection to the Pathway. I changed out the cable and it still did it this morning. To get it back working I unplug and plug the power back in. This starts the setup mode and everything then works. In my RV the TV outlets are connected to the kitchen GFI outlet that is connected to the kitchen, bath and wetbay GFI breaker. I have my Starlink router plugged into the wetbay outlet. Could the problem be that it is plugged into a GFI outlet instead of a regular outlet? I would like to know if this could be it before I start drilling a hole to connect the power cable to the microwave outlet.

After the nightly reset, the Wally will not acquire signal on its own when connected to a mobile antenna. Are you seeing the Mobile Antenna Setup Screen when you wake up or something else?
It is the mobile antenna setup screen, but it will not work until I unplug it.

Last night I move the Wally to a non GFI outlet and I turned off only the TV. This morning it had the same setup message and I had to unplug the Wally to get it to work. After watching TV for about 10 minutes the audio goes out. I checked the soundbar and everything else before I decided to unplug the Wally again. Everything came back on then. I am now waiting on advice from Brittany Gardner.
After having numerous issues with the new Wally I am thinking the issues are caused by the Wally. Twice today I lost signal from the Pathway for no reason. I had to restart it again to get it back working again.
Very infrequently the Wally is the issue. Pathways (and mostly any mobile antenna, for that matter) are very fickle. They have 1 LNB and will lose signal before locking on to the other acquired satellites when changing the channel, require direct power and coax, and do need to be scanned each morning after the nightly update. It is NOT the same experience as an install in a residential setting.
- How long is the coax from your Wally to the Pathway?
- Is it directly connected or running through a part of your RV/Trailer?
- Is your pathway sitting on the ground or elevated?
- Have you used a satellite locater app on your phone to make sure your LOS is clear to each satellite?
- Is your software on the Wally current? W583
1) The longest cable was about 30'
2) It is connected through my RV wiring. This has worked great for seven weeks.
3) The Pathway is on the tripod that it is made for.
4) I use the Winegard app to locate the satellites and I had a clear view of them
5) I believe it has the W583 software. I am home now so I can't check.
I do plan on getting my dealer to check out the RG6 wiring during the yearly inspection next week.
If you're constantly losing signal make sure your starlink outdoor unit is atleast 10ft or more from the pathway. Starlink too close to the dish can and will cause signal issues.
At both campgrounds the Pathway was at one end and the Starlink was at the other end of my 34' travel trailer.
What is weird is when I moved to another campground the first morning everything worked as it has been for seven weeks. I had the cable from the Pathway plugged into the trailer connection and I had the Wally plugged into the GFI outlet behind the TV. My issues started during the next day. When I unplugged my laptop from the GFI outlet the Wally lost connection with the Pathway. I got it all back working again after restarting the Wally. Later on when I unplugged the toaster oven from the same GFI it did it again. This is when I routed the cable through the window and I plugged the Wally into the microwave outlet. I wished I only did one step at a time to try to figure out what is going on, but I did not have the time being we were leaving.
I am thinking the GFI is the cause of the problems. I did not have any issues until I overloaded the GFI one morning running an electric heater. After that the TV and Wally lost power very briefly twice and restarted on their on. Starlink is also on the same GFI and it lost power also. I will be getting the dealer to check out the 15amp GFI breaker.

I am almost sure that GFI is your problem. It may not be the breaker itself it may well be the GFI outlet. Some GFI outlets will not work well after a failure.
I plan on getting the dealer this week to check it out. In my trailer setup the TV space is right beside the microwave space. The microwave has it's on 15amp breaker and outlet. Will I be able to plug in the Wally and the microwave at the same time.
Why aren't you plugging the Wally into the circuit that the TV is plugged into? Or are you suggesting a temporary fix until you get to the dealer.
I am and it is on a GFI breaker. Everything in the kitchen, bath, behind the TV and in the trailer outside compartment are all on a single 15amp GFI breaker. The TV, Wally, soundbar and EHD are all plugged into the duplex GFI outlet behind the TV. This setup worked for seven weeks until I added a Starlink which is plugged into the outside compartment GFI outlet. I am looking at options to have the Starlink plugged into somewhere else also.
In an actual house, sometimes you have the luxury of plugging things into different circuits. I wouldn't want my electronics and computers on the same circuit as the kitchen or washer/dryer type appliances. Not sure what options you have in a travel trailer though.
