I'm sure that will be true, but, you'll have to pay for it...I ASSume current hopper owners can get the new remote?
Its not a big deal whatever the length the guide ends up at, the only time I use the guide is to find a new show to set a timer for. I do prefer the 3 hour but either will work. The browse banner is better to find out what is on now.I think the new guide has 2 and 1/2 instead of 3
Do the providers even give accurate data that far out ?I hope the new guide will have 14 days instead of 9!
If it happens it would be the only guide with more than 9 days. I agree that a 14 day guide would be more in line with Tivo and DIRECTV's guides. But there seems to be some limitation built in to their software or they are too lazy to change it.I hope the new guide will have 14 days instead of 9!
Probably not.Do the providers even give accurate data that far out ?
From what I remember Charter Cable was 14 days, but I am not real sure.If it happens it would be the only guide with more than 9 days. When I see them there previews of new shows longer than 9 days, I write them down on a good o manual 30 calendar on our cork board so I won't forget them. Primitive, but it works for me.I could occasionally see the benefit of going further out but not too often. For instance, there's a preview for a new show starting in the future, I like to find it and mark it for recording right then, before I forget. Usually though, they promote these things 1-2 months in advance and only a "seek" timer would help.
