$300 is pretty steep, but a steel pipe that size is going to cost a pretty penny new. I've had a little luck going to local scrap yards/salvage yards. You'll have to take a tape measure and find the pipe yourself, and cut it to your length if it's too long/bent. That method can yield you a suitable pole for well under $30 - $50.I haven't looked at the LNB yet because i have another issue to resolve. I need a steel pipe that's 4" iner lip to inner lip and 4 1/2" outer lip to outer lip. I have a call out to some people to get one. Any ideas on where to look to find a cheap one. i was quoted $300 for a new one. Please help.

I just love it when a project starts coming together. Congratulations!I got to the scrapyard today. I got my pole. I tried it out and it's a perfect fit.
Now I gotta get it in the ground. Oh by the way - $20.
