New sub or wait ?

I have a time warner cable HD DVR and am paying nearly $80 a month

I am considering switching to HD bronze (then add the + for the MLB season next year) becasue i just cant bring myself to pay the extra $15 or so for just NFL network, I would not watch anything else that is added.

My question is should I jump on now or wait for some new promo or receiver?

TWC has really aggravated me with their equipment, customer serv, and crappy new DVR software.

They advertize a claim to fix every issue in 1 service call, and I am on about #5.

Honestly. I would wait. I am very excited for the new 922 DVR. But it will be here "soon".

I was looking at the 922, but i don't think I would want to pay for the upgrade. Especially since it will be a long time, be real buggy, or both.

I called Claude and have an installer headed out this weekend. Does the install cover Cat 5 routing, phone line, or OTA lines?

They will all be easy, but I would love it if I didn't have to buy the cables.

Cat5 and phone are on you as well as OTA in general, but you might ask the installer if he would an run an OTA line if your antenna would be along the route of the other runs. Worse he can say is no.
