The 722k was added today to Tech : Current Software showing L650 current as of 2/20.
RandallA, if have you old logs with "???" instead of the same model ID as I pickup up from 61.5W yesterday, then you could post correct date when the L650 started.
I guess if dish ever authorizes more than four billion receivers they have to come up with a different numbering scheme.List of Serial Numbers:
[2] 1-4000000000
And if so, then they have close to 295 million more above the 4billion.That's 4x10^9 = 410^3)^3 ~ 41024)^3 = 2^32
32-bit address, very simple.

There are supposed to be 1080p fixes in there....L618 rolled out to a large percent of 622/722s, including one of mine. Any one see any changes or no of any fixes in it?
Actually no, since when you activate a receiver they only ever ask for R and S numbers, not model number, which means each number can only be used once. So it's maximum 4.3 billion total receivers in the system. And if so, then they have close to 295 million more above the 4billion.
And each model can (does?) start the SNs over, so they need 4.3 billion of the same model.
It'll never happen, and too easy to change the model to work around it.

That's great news!! I'm looking forward to getting the FW update for that reason too...I just came home and discovered 618 on my 722. Did the HDMI test and it now properly shows 1080P/24 (as well as all others) as supported. Started download of The Beast.
