Hockey pucks are not a problem. Those are exactly what the filter is designed for. I would suggest that in this game the Zamboni is racing towards the goalie... LOL!

In hind sight, I believe the satellites tested were likely in the same area of the arc and this could have been diagnosed sooner and without throwing replacement equipment at the problem. The question was asked if the problem was happening on all frequencies and "All Satellites" are the key words. I should have specifically asked which satellites were tested and then challenged the testing procedure. Hindsight is 20/20! :D

The ops transmitter is the cause, so the easiest remedy would to relocate the WiFi antenna. Great suggestions in the linked article if the offending transmitter cannot be moved. In this case the main link point is not the problem and a fix should be simple. Maybe a structure could RF shadow the dish location if the WiFi antenna were placed out of the line of sight from dish. We used to place dishes behind barns and have constructed a few chicken fence "walls" to block offending RF from telephone point-to-point towers.

I would contact the provider and ask them to relocate the WiFi antenna to a different location on the property. Usually an easy solution if the chess pieces can be shuffled. :D

Well, i ran all satellites between 87 and 122. I did blind scan on all those satellites. The situation is always the same, picture great, high quality, but drops off every second or so. Now that i know what is causing it, i plugged my WIMAX back in and if i am actively surfing the internet it gets worse, but its always there. I can plug/unplug it from my basement. Its almost comical. Example, right now i am watching RetroTV on 87w with a 98 level and a 98 quality. I go downstairs and turn on the WiMax and the level stays the same, the quality drops down a little, but picture cuts out, pixelates along with the audio so bad, its not watchable.

Luckily, I have a Dual Internet connection. One uses 3G cell wireless and one is Wimax. Ofcourse, the WiMax is much faster, but for now, ill just keep the WiMax off. I'm not sure what to do. I am behind a hill. My choices on moving the WiMax arent so apparent. As for moving the Cband, I've got 10 bags of concrete in the ground showing resistance to that idea.

I have a garage on the opposite side. I bet these signals can reflect too huh? I bet if i put a 3 sided Faraday cage in, it still wouldn't work from because of my white garage which would reflect back to the dish. What if i have a big metal culvert that i place in exact position only allowing the signal to beam through the culvert and towards the Wimax tower. The culvert should be about 20 foot long. That's standard by the way, and I could hold it in place with a couple cranes.
:eureka

well, i now officially consider this thread complete. THANKS for all the people that came up with suggestions for this one. Even though I am still in a sword fight, at least now i know who I'm fighting!! This is a great forum, and there are some great, and very giving people here!!!! Kudos to YOU!
