Hopper 3 closed captioning

I just returned to Dish after being gone for a couple years. They installed a new Hopper 3, for which I already had the OTA adapter. I don't subscribe to locals because my off air receives 102 channels in the Houston area (most are unusable!). When watching or recording locals, all closed captioning works fine EXCEPT the CBS feed. Both my wife and I are elderly and rely on CC. The CBS feed has a completely garbled closed captioning. All others, whether OTA or in the Dish 200, work just fine. Suggestions? Dish has not been helpful at all so far via tech support.

Call the station and explain the problem. Might be a problem on their end (metadata).
