New reciver old dish

I have 2 new recivers that need the DirecTV Slimline LNB for SWM Technology SL3S. I have a DIRECTV 4-Output Slimline SL5 Dish. Will the new recivers work with the non-SWM Tech dish?

Yes the receivers will work but if they are HRs they will need 2 cables to each receiver for the dual tuners to work.

Just get a swm lnb, pi, and switch. Keep it a clean install.

what model receiver?

Some HD units need BBC converters to get the HD channels. Also as noted you need 2 wires for the DVR's. What do you currently have for receivers? If you have more than 4 tuners you will need a multiswitch too.
