I need to buy a new Sirius radio receiver for my car. Is the Sportster 3 a good model or is there something better?

I have read very bad reviews of the Xact visor.

What is the best?

Let me know.

I think "best" is a very subjective term. I have never used, nor do I know anyone with a XACT Visor, but I have 2 XACT XTR1 and 2 XACT XTR2 and have 3 friends that have a few of these as well; one also has the XACT XTR7 and they have been 110% flawless; most for nearly 3 years.

I have read a lot of bad reviews on the Xact receiver too. From what I can see the Sportster is actually a very good model. I wouldn't use the word best because like charper said, "best" is very subjective.

I like all of the new 3 and 4 series models. The Stratus is a good receiver for the money...$50 or so. I have the Stiletto and cannot put it down, but for the car I would stick with a traditional plug and play unless you want the features of the Stiletto.
