I'm a current DirecTV customer and I want to add another tv with a new D10 receiver to my account. Is there anywhere I can buy a new D10 for less than $50?

Have you tried calling DirecTV? Try the retention number 800-600-8977, they are usually willing to give a free one. You might ask for a Tivo first, lots of people get free ones, me included.
