Why do you guys pick Thuban over Sandy Bridge?

The 1075T is the about same $$$ as i5-2500 and is 125W vs. 95W.
Motherboard will be ~$25 more but that isn't the deal breaker, is it?

I guess my main reasoning when I started my build was:

1. the overall comparable build was nearly $150+ more (not really too bad, but.... )
2. The recall of the Sandy Bridge processor at the time weighed heavy in my mind. (not processor specific tho and maybe I have been reading the news wrong, but that's my point; worrying...)
3. My performance is comparable for less money and just not having to wonder about the recall issue.
