new packages question

I am currently subscribed to Total Choice with no premium movie channels, but I am interested in adding starz. If I were to add starz and keep it for a couple months and then cancel it, will I be moved into the new pricing structure? I don't want to lose my current package. Any info would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!
