New Line will be doing both Blu-Ray and HD-DVD releases but for the most part only Blu-Ray will be day-and-date. HD-DVD releases will be delayed due to a lack of region coding as
the studio needs to be sensitive to the release dates of "independent international distributors," according to New Line's EVP of marketing Matt Lasorsa.
They do note however that some second party acquisitions will be released day-and-date in all three formats.

Another plus for Blu-Ray and Negative for HD-DVD.

Region coding is only a plus for studios. It is a negative for consumers...

I guess "Blu-ray Bill" is too busy spouting all the Blu-ray stuff to think about that.

Warner to deliver BD in a big way?

BluRay's dirty little secret.
