new install - programming guide update hanging at 95%

We just had dish installed today (hopper - 2 joeys)... and have a popup box on the screen that reads

"Your program guide and DVR are being updated. Please wait to create timers or access DVR events. 95% complete."

and has been that way since about 5:00 (it's 6:36 pm now)

Does anyone have any suggestions ???

Have you reset the receiver? Can you open the guide and see how far it goes out?

I had that happen once. Power cord reboot did the trick.

Update ... thanks for the information ... I did the reset as suggested above and all is good to go now ... thanks again!!!!!
