New HD Stations

Yeap. Dish was putting NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX (the bigger networks) on 110' or 119' for New York City, for example, but then would put the "other" less popular channels on 61.5'. For 99% of NYC customers, they didn't care and were none the wiser. They just figured "Dish doesn't carry the channel".

Any word on when Dish is adding some more HD stations?

During the most recent Charlie Chat, Eric Sahl said that they hoped to have NHL HD channel up on October 1st.

Okay let me try and clear this up...it’s not Sci-Fi HD, its HD Sci-Fi, or High Definition Science Fiction!

Ah what does that have to do with the Sci Fi Channel in HD? Oops, I meant having having new satelites in space and if you have to use one dish or two?
