I do not think Dish would bother to announce moving to spot, it "should" be transparent to all the subs. Of course all the movers may find out the hard way. Same thing with Providence, will they make an announcement? Or, just move the channels?

You won't see a press type of announcement but I'm sure the area installers were told in case they see problems.

How long til Harrisburg pa gets locals? Anyone know, its the freakin capitol of PA for cryin out loud. every cable provider and even Direct tv have the local HD channels here, I don't understand why we don't on Dish Net?

It's not just about town size.. it's spotbeam location/capacity and of course if your stations want to "play ball" or not.
