New D* subscriber

Just making sure I got my bases covered here - making the switch from E* to D*
have one (SD) tv in the house - will be moving to HD in a month or two
ordered an HD-DVR in anticipation of the new tv.

in the meantime, will there be any compatibility problems between the HD-DVR and the SD tv? I really don't think there should be, but wanted to ask so I can start working on my wife now in case I need an HD set NOW instead of THEN

The HD DVR doesn't have an RF output so your SD TV will need to have either a composite (yellow) or S-Video input on it. Other then that no problems running a HD DVR on a SD TV.

I run everything through a Yamaha Receiver (for home theater purposes, ya know?), so that shouldn't be a problem. There's a zillion connectors on the back of that thing - ha
