I just built my house and I put a 2" conduit up in to the attic with a few RG6 and a Cat6 in it. At least with the conduit, I can easily run any new wire I may need in the future.

I remember the days of the super dish, dp34, 322's and 522's before diplexers and separators. Gobs of cable to make it all work...lol.

Those days were a real nightmare, they were requiring a phone line connection at the time too!

Remodeled kitchen and dinning room last summer into one big kitchen...I did all the wiring myself but not once did I think I would have needed cat5 in either room or coax since everything is wireless now anyway. I wouldn't worry about it to much for the cost of wire compared to the ease of wireless.
