new channels 214 and 216 "ESPN Alternate"?

I saw they added channel 214 and 216 today. both are labelled "ESPN Alternate" with Women's College Basketball games for tommorow. Also they have the message "ESPN Full Court Subscribers can supplement their NCAA Women's College Basketball Tournament coverage on viewer channels 780-784.

Ok 3 questions:

1. aren't 780-784 NHL Center Ice channels?

2. is an ESPN Full Court subscription required to view the games on 214 and 216, or will they be for blacked out viewers of regular ESPN and ESPN2 like 210 and 211?

3. isnt the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament played the same time as the men's, in March?

I'm very confused!

214 will be the MLBnet Alternative station.

those espn alternate channels have been around forever. about the only time i've seen programming listed is during the first 2 rounds of the womens ncaa basketball tourney!
