Yea, kinda raggedy lookin' dish, there. -
But, 15 feet of pipe stickin' out of the ground is a good deal! - :up
The feedhorn looks like it's on a pretty standard "button hook" mount.
They seem to sag some over years, and would need to be measured and possibly re-centered by stringing it with some metal fishing leader.
I went after a nice perforated dish up on 9' of pipe, earlier this year.
(My plan was to drop it in a 3' hole and still have the dish at the 6' level!) -
We took the dish off the heavy AJAK H-H mount.
Could twist the mount on the pipe , but couldn't get it off.
Finally, we cut nearly all the way through the pipe down at ground level, but left about an inch.
Used a sawzall, then a hand grinder with a cut-off wheel.
We got all hands on deck, and bent the pole (at the 1" tab), and lowered the pole with mount attached, down to the ground.
The tab kept that end of the pole from flipping up into the air.
Use your own judgment, as to whether you want to follow a similar plan.
Personally, I'd bring down the pole, trash the dish, but keep the motor and feed for parts.
You can certainly find better dishes around, but poles don't grow on trees.
And digging them out of cement is real work!
Just have a look around.
