New 129 bird location?

Hi all,

I think I read somewhere that at least one of the new birds that was delayed is going to 129. Anyone happen to know elevation-wise where it'll be? Hopefully it'll be relatively higher in the sky than the current E* 129 West.

The current one is behind the tree-tops for me, and currently I get a passable weak signal on most of the transponders - save for the despicable #6. The installer even told me that I'd be fine if I moved into the condo above me.

Elevation angle won't change if it's truly going to 129. The only way you can raise the elevation angle to 129 is by physically moving farther south or west. Trees can be topped, or you can move upstairs too.

DOH. :/ Well, the trees won't be topped. It's "natural growth" near a stream (mutter mutter Association mutter). I just happened to remember the installer saying that 129 was lower in the sky than 110 / 119 for some reason. Was halfway hoping that was just another problem with that POS bird, and that the new ones would be elsewhere in that same area.

could always point a dish at the 61.5 if you are needing 129 for HD

I knew of an installer who always seemed to luck out with trees mysteriously disappearing at night.
