Neusat Sp-6000

I have wondered what to do with an extra receiver...... if I but it in the bedroom, then all my lnbs would need to be changed to duals So thats not gonna happen. If I like the Neusat, I will probably keep the Fortec for awhile and use it to set up my last Primestar, or see if I can't get my inlaws into FTA. If that doesn't pan out, I will post it for sale.

not all of them would. Just get some high frequency splitters since G10 mainly is V.

You could do like I did and mix G10 V and IA7 H into a 3x4 multiswitch and hook up 4 receivers to it (in my case it was G10 V and G4 C-band H)

I'd put that second box in the bedroom

WOW! that sounds confusing! I am going to try to see if I can talk my inlaws into FTA I also thought about keeping one as a "scan" receiver, or maybe just feeding 1 or 2 dishes into it. Not sure why I would want to. The Neusat caught my eye for a few reasons - looks, USB so that I could easily back it up, and the price. THe signal meter sounded nice too. Hmm...... what to do And to think a few months ago, I said G10 only. That is it!

Your addicted and it sounds like you are ready for the 12 step program. The first step of the program is to get rid of all your FTA equipment. Since i am such a helpful guy I will take all of that pesky FTA equipment off of your hands. I will pm you my address

WOW! that sounds confusing!

actually its pretty easy. Allows you to hook 4 receivers to 2 LNB's with only one switch (and the LNB's can be singles)

only drawback is you can't see the other polarity on the LNB's so I can't see G10 H. But no biggie as there sint much on there

Looking at the shipping policies on Sat-Pros ebay auction, they list a phone # 626 599 2222 in cas eyou want to call them. I would think $60 plus shipping would still be a good deal for someone.

Bummer! Don't give up! Maybe since he has sold a few in the last few days he is holding out. I did see one was at $72 + 19 shipping this am on ebay. There is also some for $189 buy it now.

My wife just called, receiver showed up in the mail today! WOW! That's quick! I paid Tuesday night about 6pm cst. Can't wait to hook it up tonight!

When you swap the boxes out, make sure to power off the Fortec with the switch on back

I will admit that I have redone some connectors and swapped out cables on my Dish equipment without turning them off. By accident of course.

I updated the software and the new software says March 16th (my original was Feb something)

didnt change much...the meter on this one is low. Max is 72 (and that was on GBN on AMC6)
