Need help with VIP 722


I installed the 722 about a month ago. Everything has worked fine until yesterday. The second TV (UHF) remote will only control the number 2 TV every once in a while. Most of the time it will do nothing. It will turn the TV on all the time, just not operate the receiver. I have replace the batteries and did all the checks , but nothing works

extend UHF antenna. if you have piece of cable connect that to UHF antenna port and then hook that little antenna to it. it should work also try changing remote address

You might also want to check the strength of you batteries in your remote.

How far away from the box are you? Also I remember a "code" that you put into the remote to ramp up the signal to full strength was around here not too long ago.

Here it is, on the remote, press Browse, Theme, Record and it should increase the range.
