Need help with OTA antenna.

Hey guys, new here, 1st post. I have a Samsung 42" DLP & Dish HD package. We don't have Ft. Wayne locals in HD yet & our edition doesn't allow outdoor OTA antennas. What do you suggest? I have seen several posts about the Silver Sensor & wondered if it would work for me. Here's my info from antennaweb:

the silver sensor generally operates in the yellow, green, lt green consistently indoors.

red blue violet is best handed out doors in most cases with preamp ...but who knows. this is not an exact science.

suggest the antennas direct 43xg over the cm 4221 with a winegard hdp269 preamp indoors.

the 43xg by design tames multipath better than the bowties and would avoid them indoors...just a precaution.

Red blue violet is usually not typical for under 20 miles which hints of some reception challenges. you can try a radio shack 75u uhf antenna at 24.99 and see how that works and if reception stinks return it for some thing stronger.

If reception with the 75u really stinks, to be safe you can always purchase the 91xg and remove the front section and it becomes a 43 xg if the extra gain is not necessary or is too big for the attic.
