First Off, I am trying to set up a Turbo HD dish so that I can use a VIP 211K solo receiver from our house while we are in our RV every weekend in Augusta GA. I purchased the dish from a previous dish customer and it was working fine according to them when they switched to cable. The dish says Turbo HD and the lnb is a DP Plus Digital and the only numbers I can find on it are A21201-WJ090FT62. I finally got one signal on the 110 satellite but can not get any others. I have it set at 230, Elev 39 and 130 skew. I have 1 coax coming from the #1 terminal and have it hooked into my receiver. Do I need another type switch. When I do the check switch it shows 1-110, 2-conn and 3-conn. When I go to the Point Dish it only gives me a choice of Dish System of 300, 500 and Super. Any information on helping me get more of my channels will be greatly appreciated. Strange how all of the shopping channels seem to be coming in fine, but nothing that I am really interested in watching. HELP PLEASE.

your aim/settings are off as you are receiving 110 on the 119 lnb......double check your settings on dishpointer.com and make sure mast is plumb.....also are the 3 lnb heads equally spaced, or are two close together and one further apart?

sounds like you have a 1000.2 lnb, but may have a 1000.4 EA lnb....

Covering up LNBFs is a poor way and may be very unsuccessful. The issue is to sure you are aiming at the 119 LNBF Assuming you are just using the receiver as the aiming meter, make sure the satellite set is 119 at the Switch Check screen and a transponder higher than 11.

Assuming this is a triple LNBF dish, the settings from the receiver don't count. You get the settings (Azimuth, Elevation, and Skew) from the manual on the Dish site or go to Dishpointer.com and put in your Zipcode and make sure you select the dish type, probably a 1000.2.

Thanks so much

Thanks for your info. I moved the tripod to a better location and set it on 119 like you suggested. Got a signal there, did the check switch and VIOLA, 110,119 and 129. Got guide downloaded and we can even get our local channels from the Western NC mountains where our main home is.

Good job!
