Are we going to get the backstory on how Abby and/or Ducky started with NCIS? Also, What is the title of Episode 1?
I’ve got nada on Abs thus far, but showrunner Gary Glasberg says that Episode 3 is “a Ducky origin story, where people learn all kinds of things about his past and see a younger David McCallum, so we’re excited about that.” The Season 12 premiere, meanwhile, is titled, “20 Clicks.”

Question: Can you tell us anything about this new woman that Tony will meet this season on NCIS?
Ausiello: As previously reported, the woman due to enter DiNozzo’s life will do so via a case, and as such his dynamic with her will be “completely different” than what he shared with NCIS colleague Ziva David, show boss Gary Glasberg tells us. “The trick will be casting somebody where the chemistry [with Michael Weatherly] is there, but we’re excited about the opportunity,” Glasberg adds. “We’ll give it a shot and see what we can do.”

NCIS Season 12 Spoilers: Cote de Pablo in 'Truth or Consequence' Follow-up Mention Thrills Fans; Episode Titles Revealed....

NCIS Season 12 spoilers currently exclude a special appearance by Cote de Pablo's Ziva David; but when TV director Dennis Smith and writer Jesse Stern brought up a "Truth or Consequences" follow-up in a #TivaCamp2014 shout-out on Twitter, TiVa fans were thrilled. Meanwhile, the titles of the first two episodes, as well as the centre of the third episode, have been revealed.Spoiler alert: This feature contains NCIS Season 12 spoilers. Read only if you are eager to find out what happens next to Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team next season.
"Just talking about "Truth or Consequences" with Mr.Weatherly and Mr. Stern the other night over a nice bottle of wine," NCIS director Dennis Smith said on Twitter, sparking again hopes for a Cote de Pablo and Ziva David visit in NCIS Season 12.

Mr Weatherly is presumed to be Tony DiNozzo himself, Michael Weatherly. Mr Stern, who also tweeted about the same topic, used #TivaCamp2014 in his shout-out, asking Tiva fans for their opinion. The replies he's drawn is a glimpse of fans hoping for some NCIS Season 12 moments with Tiva.

"Hi #TivaCamp2014 been thinking a little bit about a follow up to Truth or Consequences lately. Think that'd be fun?" tweeted Jesse Stern, who wrote NCIS Season 7, Episode 1, titled "Truth or Consequences."

(In NCIS Season 7, Episode 1, Tony gets tortured for Ziva, McGee shows steely determination to save Ziva, and Gibbs kills Ziva's captor with his excellent sniper skills.)

Fans have learned earlier that Gibbs and McGee (Sean Murray) find themselves in Russia when NCIS Season 12 starts this fall. Alex Veadov joins the cast in a recurring role. (Read the spoilers here and join the interesting discussion in the comments section, too.)

In other NCIS Season 12 spoilers released earlier, Tony DiNozzo is going to meet someone new. Many Tiva fans are hoping for Tony to at least have a more definite closure with Ziva David before this new lovelife blossom completely.

Other NCIS fans, meanwhile, have simply had enough of the TiVa arc. For them, Cote de Pablo the actress has moved on, and Ziva David the character is no longer coming back to NCIS. Smith's and Stern's tweets, however, fuel the Tiva fans' hope for at least one TiVa moment in NCIS Season 12.

NCIS Season 12, Episode 1 is titled "20 Clicks," according to a TVLine scoop. Episode 2 is called "Kill the Messenger," director Smith revealed. Episode 3, title still unknown, is going to be Ducky-centric, says the same TVLine report.

NCIS Season 12 premieres Sept. 23, Tuesday. The air date is displayed on the show's official CBS online page.
NCIS Season 12 Spoilers, Speculations: Ziva David Replacement in Tony's Life, McGee and Gibbs Grow Closer
NCIS Season 12 spoilers include a Gibbs-McGee adventure. Perhaps Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) would still be grieving the death of his father (the late Ralph Waite as Jackson Gibbs) in the beginning of the new chapter, but he will be grieving someplace else. This season, Gibbs and McGee (Sean Murray) are likely to become closer than ever. Meanwhile, it seems Cote de Pablo's Ziva David will be replaced in Tony's life.

For the NCIS Season 12 premiere, executive producer Gary Glasberg told TV Line the plan is "to come out with a bang." He also told the entertainment site Alex Veadov is joining the cast in a recurring villain role.

"We've got a really significant season opener that brings Gibbs and McGee to Russia for a really big story," Glasberg said. Fans would recall that Gibbs and McGee shared a touching moment at the hospital when Delilah (Margo Harshman) was gravely injured by Parsa's attack against the DND. In NCIS Season 12, it seems viewers will see that McGee is even more comfortable around Gibbs now.

Glasberg also said viewers will meet the NCIS agents' new "significant adversary" soon into the NCIS Season 12 premiere. This character, played by Veadov, will be seen throughout the new season. He will be the Parsa of this new chapter.

While Gibbs and McGee are in Russia, where is Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly)? Wherever he may be at the beginning of NCIS Season 12, he is likely to still be far away from Ziva David.

Glasberg earlier said Tony DiNozzo is facing a new beginning in his personal life. He has "tried" to deal with the departure of Ziva David, the EP explained, and it is time for someone new to come along in NCIS Season 12.

IBT Australia has reached out to Ms de Pablo's publicists, but they "do not have any information about [Cote returning in NCIS Season 12]." More updates are expected to come out as fans await the actress playing the role of Tony's new love interest. For a Tiva closure, Tony is likely to somehow tell Ziva about this budding romance.

In Season 10 on NCIS, we finally met McGee’s dad. Will we see him this season or at least get an update on his cancer?
“I don’t know if we’ll see McGee’s dad or not,” show boss Gary Glasberg said when I brought your question to him, “but we’ll certainly revisit that storyline.”

I’ve heard a rumor that Emily Wickersham (Bishop) will only be back for a couple of NCIS episodes in Season 12. Can you confirm or deny?
Oh, Internet. You amuse me. Let’s dismiss this tall tale, seeing as the show has plans to explore the probie’s past and personal life. Says Gary Glasberg, “We’ll be getting into Bishop’s background a little and meet her husband Jake, understand what their relationship is all about.”

Remember the end of X-Files. Ruined a great show with two years of make it up as you go along searching for Mulder (who was played by a guy nobody ever heard of before the show started). Rather than just do a BJ for Trapper or a Dick Sargent for a Dick York, and MOVING ON.

Memo: The actress doesn't want to get even richer by playing a supporting character in a hit show. Plug in another actress. Move on.

Just curious, is the actress that played McGee’s girlfriend coming back to NCIS, or are they done?

Chris Through production of Season 12 thus far, Big Bang alum Margo Harshman has yet to reprise her role as Delilah – though, as show boss Gary Glasberg promised, McGee’s complicated relationship has not been dropped. In fact, I’m hearing that Delilah has been referenced several times already.

CBS Slapped With Lawsuit Over Farting Hippo From ‘NCIS’

It all goes back to 2002, when Folkmanis first produced a “20-inch, three-dimensional, soft sculptural puppet emulating a hippopotamus,” which the lawsuit refers to as Hippo 1.

The next year, CBS got its hands on a Hippo 1 puppet and used it in as a prop in its procedural program “NCIS.” According to the lawsuit, “When Hippo 1 appeared on the CBS ‘NCIS’ show, it was often accompanied by a dubbed sound effect of a fart attributable to the Hippo 1 puppet.” The puppet's propensity to fart earned it the nickname “Bert the Farting Hippo,” and it became such a favorite that it has appeared in over a dozen episodes of “NCIS” since first gracing the screen in 2003.

A year later, CBS figured that the Bert had become so popular, they might as well cash in on it by selling farting puppets to dedicated “NCIS” fans. They contracted with Folkmanis to make a new version — one that had a spiked collar and a little internal box that made the prescribed fart sound effect.

For a few years, everyone was happy. Folkmanis’ business was booming; they produced 30,000 farting hippos to CBS to sell in its online store and at other retailers, which meant a nice profit for the network and delighted, fart-loving fans. In 2011, the network even commissioned a smaller farting hippo keychain, so people could take Bert and his gas wherever they went.

Then, everything (allegedly) fell apart.
