Those are not network shows. The networks do not control the 7-8 ET/PT time slot. The local affiliates do, and there is an FCC rule that says so. What is on a particular CBS station in that slot will vary from town to town.

Why did they run off without a new episode tuesday? There also won't be a new episode on, on dec 3 either. Are they running short again on episodes, and have to run off for 2 or 3 weeks to make it appear that the season is longer?

Holiday season, they don't want to waste an episode when people won't be watching.

I'm not sure what holiday tuesday was. I thought they had a new ncis la on though, I don't watch that one, so I ain't 100% sure on that.

Last tuesday they aired Rudolph the red nose reindeer in the NCIS time slot.

NCIS LA airs in 9-10pm slot, and it was a new episode.
Since Rudolf is for the kiddies, I guess they put it as early as possible.
Too bad for us grumpy burned-out adults, eh?

This one in particular.

However, the Ellie Bishop character was pretty good.
Her part should probably be toned down for a few episodes.
Else, she looks like the star of the show.
