NCAA College Basketball 2011-12

I think Kentucky has shown that they are clearly the best team. Syracuse, North Carolina, Ohio State, Kansas, and a few others are certainly capable of beating them, and since it's March Madness, other craziness can happen too.

Should be interesting.

Syracuse is afraid of no team.

They go into Louisville- not easy- and come out with a tough win.

Damn meeting...though I must say, hearing my buddy describe the last 5 minutes of the game, there was some seriously ugly basketball played. But a "w" is a "w"...and as a 'Cuse fan... I'll take it.

It was nasty. Peyton Siva...I don't even know what to say. Good player, but so many unforced mistakes late in the game.

Pitino handled it well. Frank Martin's head would have exploded...

If nothing else the game was worth seeing to see Rick Pitino in his Tony Manero white suite. Crazy.

When he had his arm around Siva I imagined him saying 'Don't touch my hair. I work a long time on my hair then you hit it. You hit my hair.'

Sloppy game but a depleted bama is tied with #12 Florida at half. Not bad. Should be doing much better.

yup :)

and they moved the game from ESPN2 to the mothership

Murray State athletics has learned from ESPN that Dave O'Brien and Dick Vitale will be on the call for the telecast of Saturday's Sears BracketBusters game against Saint Mary's.

The game will tip at 5:05 p.m. CDT on ESPN at the CFSB Center in Murray, Ky.

"It's a real honor to have Dick Vitale coming to Murray," MSU Director of Athletics Allen Ward said. "When it comes to college basketball, it doesn't get any bigger than Dickie V. The game's already sold out, so we're primed and ready to put on a good show for him and the national television audience. What a great opportunity to showcase Racer basketball."

Too bad Murray is way down at the other end of the state. I could go to the UK game and then go to Murray. It's sold out anyway so it doesn't really matter.
I will need to go to a place to watch the game after KY.

These refs are doing all they can to give UNC the win.

Nothing against you personally because you see posts like this from other people here, and from other forums...but whining about officiating always makes me chuckle. It's like people think for some reason referees really do go into a game with the intention of making sure one team wins.

I know....but I am not 'Canes basketball fan...but I hate UNC almost as much I love the 'Cuse basketball. The officiating was horrible last night....not to the point of doing it on purpose, but after guys get elbowed in the jaw, run over while sitting outside of sphere and blatant moving picks.... you sit there and go 'damn, did he swallow the whistle or was he watch a cute co-ed with a low cut dress?'

goodbye and good riddance.

Vandy with the upset!
