Haha. That's not what I intended. It's just a big rematch of last year's sweet 16 match-up that Ohio State won by one point after being down by 20. Greg Oden blocked Ramar Smith's layup attempt as time expired. It was one of the best games of the tournament last year, IMO.Here we go again. Another SEC-Big Ten thread.
February 23rd. Tennessee at Memphis. Both teams will be in the top 5 when the new polls come out this week.North Carolina goes down yesterday. What are the chances of anybody running the table undefeated this season? Maybe Memphis?
Wildcats played great. Rupp was especially rocking. Even though it was a loss for the Vols, I'm hoping Lofton now hits his streak after becoming the SEC's all-time leader in 3-pointers during that game.I forgot to mention this the other day, but HOW BOUT THEM WILDCATS!!!!!
Beat a good #3 or #5 Tennessee team.
I don't think the SEC is overrated this year mainly because no one is saying the SEC is any good. There are only 3 ranked teams. Who is overrating them?Pffft. SEC is massively overrated this year.
Not saying that they'll beat Memphis, but saying a 16-2 team that has played the 2nd toughest strength of schedule in the country and is ranked 1st in the RPI is way overrated may be a little much....And one of those ranked teams are the Vols. Memphis will CRUSH them! Waaaay overrated.

Since you brought up Sagarin. Let's look at that. There's a reason Pomeroy, Sagarin, etc, are way down on the Vols.
Thank God we have a tournament to sort this all out. A friend of mine used to say "Lies, damn lies, and statistics." I'm not saying stats are bad, but they are often used to frame what ever lie the user is trying to sell. Enron was all about the numbers, weren't they?
