Northwestern should have gone for the field goal with the new kicker. It was just a chip shot.
Let unranked teams play their stupid bowl games. Who cares? What did Auburn get for winning? A fat heap of NOTHING! Playoffs are for the top teams in the country who deserve a legitmate shot at a NC. Besides, most of these bowl games are a complete fraud. They force the schools to buy tens of thousands of tickets, which are usually worthless since the schools can't sell them, so the schools lose millions of dollars on these games. Only the bounty of the BCS makes them whole. What a joke.

I never said it was boring.
I HAVE said LSU was putting on a piss poor catching performance, and I also said the field sucks.
I happen to think a defensive game is just as interesting as any.
My post was in response to Sabres post. Read back a few.
Penn State has to be able to hang on to a few of these interceptions that they have dropped today, thats 2 in the last 5 minutes.
And the LSU outdoor bowl losing streak continues.

Slow start, nice finish.
It was dull as hell for two quarters, but had a dramatic finish.
I had to rub my eyes when I saw Oregon run out onto the field- after five years of Trojan cardinal and gold, the Duck unis were a sight for sore eyes.
What I was trying to say is, "It's nice to see someone other than USC representing the Pac 10 in Pasadena."
