This is what I mean. Retiring the number of Jackie Robinson because of what he accomplished is unique. When you start doing it based on on-court/on-field accomplishments alone, it turns into a very grey area.

That's because #18 (Loscy's number) was retired for Dave Cowens. The Celtics honored Jungle Jim by placing "Loscy" in the Garden rafters.

BTW, the #18 was worn by another very good Celtics player, Bob Brannum.

Ty Lawson had a dunk over 2 Lakers tonight. Never seen someone 5'11" dunk over anyone before. He sure wasn't doing that at Carolina, not that I would have minded.
