NBA 2008-09 Season

Good games tonight...

7:00 LA Lakers - Toronto

Where is the bottom for the Raps? The traveling road show goes north of the border tonight.

7:30 Cleveland - New York

Another chance for the Knicks to show they can play with the big boys. And then there's the LeBron thing.

7:30 Miami - Detroit

If the bottom of the east wasn't so bad, these teams would have to worry about keeping their playoff spots.

8:00 Chicago - New Orleans

Hornets fading without Paul. Is the bottom ninth place? Bulls still fighting for a playoff spot themselves. Seriously.

8:30 Portland - Dallas

Blazers headed north in the standings. Creeping up on the Nuggets, who beat Spurs-lite last night.

36-24 Cavs leading Knicks after the first quarter.

LeBron already has 20 points! After 1 stinking quarter!

Anyone think he's going after Kobe's 61 he dropped on NY a few days ago?

If LeBron WANTED to, he could score 60 points in his sleep.

He's just too much of a team player to purposely go for it.

BTW HD,

It's a disgrace that Mo Williams didn't make the All-Star team. They were talking about it on Boston sports radio this afternoon. They were quoting Williams' stats, and asking why he was slighted.

The Sacramento Kings, in my mind, have replaced the Thunder as the worst team in the West.

All year long, I've made fun of them- but recently, they're showing more effort and heart.

As for the Kings- well, they lost by 48 points to the underachieveing Suns. That is not a typo.

Yeah, Mo should've gotten in. A shame only 1 player from our team got selected.

BTW, you could also make a case for your Ray Allen or Rajon Rondo to get in.

It'll be interesting to see who David Stern selects to replace Jameer Nelson.

All the talking heads in Boston agreed: the nod should go to Mo Williams.

Not only is Williams having a great year, but they made a great point about the Big Three in the East.

Orlando has 3 All-Stars, Boston has two and Cleveland has only one. They reasoned that Stern should choose Williams just to balance it out.

BTW, they sold me when I listened today.

Boston vs. LA will be an awesome Thursday night game on TNT.

We play the Lakers this Sunday afternoon.

That's why I have to give the Lakers a lot of credit for their performance tonight.

Who could blame them if they laid an egg in Toronto, with trips to Boston and Cleveland concluding their long road trip?

Trivia pairs::

Answer Kobe Bryant, 61 points, 0 rebounds.

2. What is the record for most home runs in a season by a player with ZERO intentional walks?
