Navigation freezes on HR 34

I try to keep up with 2 or 3 games on the NFL ticket and will switch channels during commercials and other game stoppage. After switching channels quickly and frequently the navigation commands stop and I can't switch channels without doing a RBR. I've also noticed that when I first turn to the NFL channel I get the message to use the red button on the remote to get the scoring update menu, this notice goes away and doesn't appear before the navigation commands stop. This condition also happens on the ESPN networks when I watch college football on Sunday. I'm thinking this freezing of the commands has something to do with the red button score update message on these sports channels. Has anyone else experienced this problem or is there anyway to stop the score update App.
