Hello,
I wanted to say that IT WORKS!!!!
I FINALY was able to SLAVE my Pansat 9200HD FTA receiver
to my analog C/Ku band satellite receiver.
I hook'em up by the following instruction.
Connecting BUD C KU Band dish to one DVB receiver
IT WORKED!!!
Sorry that it took me soooo long to get to it since I've enquired about
setting up, last year or so. And now I'm here with some news.
And I do need help with anyone who's familer with Pansat 9200HD.
FIRST.....
I was able to pick up by the following satellites
Galaxy 14c
Galaxy 18c
Galaxy 23c
Galaxy 16c
Galaxy 17c (This one is good, FX East and FX West)
Those turned out OKAY. But I do have a problem
by the following satellites.
Galaxy 19c
Galaxy 3c
Galaxy 13c
AMC 11c
SECOND.....
The problem with these satellites, when I notice
there's a signal on each one of them, but NO QUALITY
appears.
Every satellite I selected, it shows
"Tuner type: DVB-S / QPSK / OFF".
What does this mean??? Does it mean that I do not
have a QPSK board installed????
According to the box when I received the Pansat 9200HD
from an ebay seller, last year, it says "DVB-S2 8psk installed".
Okay, well, why I'm seeing the above message on every
satellite that I selected from the installation setup???
I went to "Advanced & TP settings" and I found one part
that would allow me to turn on the DVB-S2 8PSK to "ON".
But there's no way to SAVE that setting for the individual
satellite.
If anyone of you are familer with Pansat 9200HD FTA receiver,
and would know how to solve the problem, please, I would
appreciate for answers. As long I'm enjoying it with the
working satellites, how can I fix the ones that shows NO
QUALITY, but have the signal. Has I done something wrong??
Or do I have to have a QPSK part that would show the quality???
Well, before you get to answer that, I notice when I first
got Galaxy 23, and at first time there it didn't have quality,
so I figured out to bring up the quality is go to my analog
satellite receiver, and change it's SKEW to take effects on
the Pnasat 9200HD. And YES, it does makes the difference.
So, I tried to do the samething on Galaxy 19c, didn't help.
Well, not exactly, I was able to change the TP on Galaxy 19,
on the Pansat 9200HD, and when I reached to TP-10, it does
shows quality, but YOU THINK IT WOULD SAVE AND COLLECTS
list of channels when you scan it. NOPE, it only scan that TP
shortly, and it doesn't save..
It seems to me that Pansat 9200HD would only picks up quality
if it on TP-1 and not your choice to make.
Enclosed is photos attachment of screen displays from my
Pansat 9200HD FTA receiver. And see if you could tell me
what's going on with the satellites that I cannot seem to
pull in. Others are great. But not all channels, because of
QPSK or DVB-S2 are turned OFF???
Hope all helps with answers. And sorry for being late in
catching up with my C-band project.
Thanks for taking the time to read my enquiry. I hope that you could help.
Thank you,
Eugene
