Pardon the question most probably already know the answer to, but I keep reading where all the new DirectTV HD channels are in MPEG4. I may be mistaken, but aren't all of DISH's HD channels also in MPEG4?

No, not all of Dish's HD is mpeg4. There are still a couple of mpeg2's hanging around.
