MPEG4 vs MPEG2

Could someone provide or point me to a list of all E*'s channels and whether they are compressed with mpeg2 or mpeg4? Is there any noticeable quality improvement to mpeg4? Does the compression apply to SD channels or just HD?

SD on western Arc = Mpeg 2

HD on western arc and all of eastern arc = Mpeg 4 (there may still be a couple mpeg 2 HD but they are being phased out)

While Mpeg 4 has the capability of looking better, dish compresses it and they look pretty much the same.
