Is DISH even available in Alaska because even SiriusXM is not available in Alaska and Hawaii, unless it was their streaming service.SirusXM still not avaiable to alaska customers on Dish.

You know when you’re running a check switch on your hopper and it has that button that you can click on that says Alternate something? That’s for Hawaii and Alaska. Is DISH even available in Alaska because even SiriusXM is not available in Alaska and Hawaii, unless it was their streaming service.

I don't know the exact dates, but we do know that the Dish lease for the 129 satellite expires in July 2023 (according to their public paperwork filed with the government). It is pretty safe to say that they will be on the 110 or 119 satellite within the next 4 weeks. Josh.M might have more specific dates on those specific channels as he mentioned in another post that Dish was aiming for July 18. That gives Dish 2 weeks of wiggle room if something doesn't go according to plan.Good day,
Is there any word on Fanduel Racing 398-399 in PR. It disappeared awhile back with the sat changing. Thanks

Thanks Josh! One other technical question - is the plan to convert all the SD MPEG2 national channels to SD MPEG 4 as well? I watch LAFF (channel 237 on 110, TP 10) consistently, and I have not noticed any change in picture quality during this transition, so I assume nothing has changed with that channel and it is still MPEG2. However, channel 464, the SD sports PPV channel, was converted to MPEG4 and I noticed a definite change in picture quality for the better.Looks like 7/11 for moving SXM services to 110.
Also slated for 7/11

SXM and most channels as far as I can tell are moving off 129 tonight.I don't know the exact dates, but we do know that the Dish lease for the 129 satellite expires in July 2023 (according to their public paperwork filed with the government). I won't miss it. Hitting all three with that 20 deg spread was a PITA at times shooting through openings in trees. 61.5 and 72.7 along with just 110 and 119 to work with will make aiming life a bit easier.------In mid-July, 2023, the 129W orbital will be taken down and the orbital location will no longer exist in DISH systems. All Core
SD programming (as stated above) will be removed on July 11, 2023 from MPEG-2 equipment and the final few local
channels/markets no later than July 20, 2023. After that point, all Western Arc programming will be located on orbitals 110
and 119.------
How many of the remaining channels are important to you?So am I the only one that skeptical that this transition will happen on time? I want some more black and white from Dish regarding if and when we can stop needed LOS for the 129 sat.
I checked today and SXM channels are still on the 129 satellite. Maybe they will change that soon.SXM and most channels as far as I can tell are moving off 129 tonight.
I don't think anything substantial will be on there anymore
All the SXM channels (99 on Hopers, 6000's on others) are moving to 110 as are these and some locals that still haven't moved

None for myself, however I have many customers who have limited to no LOS for the 129. I would be great to know definitely. How many of the remaining channels are important to you?
