I may have missed this, but wanted to put this out. I am in the DFW area and have 211 boxes with the HD Absolute package (or whatever it is called). I was checking all channells last night and noticed 5 channels in the 6401 - 6406 range, excluding 6405. The EPG had them listed as ESPN, TNT, etc.; the original 5 MPEG2 channels. There is no programming listed, just ESPN, etc. I cannot find them on 110, 119, or 129 (The List!) Did I miss something or is this possibly a good thing? Anyone have anything on this?

They are still MPEG2. They made the usual locations visible to MPEG4 receivers only to encourage calling in to get a replacement, but remapped them again to the 6100 range so they could still watch them.

According to the Tech Forum last week, they will be going MPEG4 Dec. 1st.
