I am nervous - I just emailed Directv and asked to "move" to Caribou, ME. That county doesn't have locals and they receive NY/LA DNS, which will allow me to watch Stanford on Saturdays when ESPN/ABC holds it captive. It will also allow me to have more syndicated HD, and let the Red Sox, Celtics, and Bruins games be not blacked out. I have an AM21 for my real locals. This is the reply I got:
Thank you for writing. I see that you're one of our new customer, I would like to welcome you to the DIRECTV family. We are happy to have you with us. Let me help you with your concern about your service address and local channels.
We want to make sure that your concern is addressed appropriately. Thus, I just wanted to let you know that we received your email and I have forwarded it for special handling. A specialist will respond as soon as an agent is available (likely within 24 hours). For immediate assistance, please call us at 1-800-531-5000.
Should I be worried? Are they going to figure it out? Or is this normal because it's kinda late and only lower-level people are there?
