I am sorry if i put this in to wrong area
I have looked into "moving" to :)Reno, NV I am in Oregon according to google maps I am 512 miles driving and I can see the spotbeam when i go into the point dish screen and select sat 119 tp5 i get between 46-50 on the meter. sky's are clear temp is around 64
what I would like to know is do you think my signal is good to do this or should i just forget it

ps will "move" back when dish gets CSNNW:hungry:

Yes, that's fine for reception. Anything above 30 will do for regular viewing.

I am assuming you have the new firmware with lower readings. To know we'd need your reading on 119's home ts, 19.

Oh. Got it. I couldn't get the Reno locals in NE OR when I went on vacation in the LaGrande/Baker City area. I don't know where you are exactly, but if you can get the spots, it's worth a try. From the maps I've seen of the spot beam coverage, I don't think it will. I think it died off around Klamath Falls.

They don't have HD LiLs yet. I get all of the HD OTA with the exception of PBS. It's broadcasting, but a hill is in the way behind my house.

LINN COUNTY OREGON
either reno or another set of locals that contain if possible cw hd and/or my network(plus as our my network station is doing a 8:00 news and they are delaying network programing so no hd till they either cancel it or get what they need to delay the hd content) that are on conus or a spotbeam that i can see in LINN COUNTY OREGON south of Salem

sats are 110/118.7/119/129

I just mapped Albany @ 512 mile to Reno just before you posted. I'm guessing it's too far north. I don't know how dish responds to moving and then moving back again in the same day or week.

No HD locals in Reno on Dish.

The new 90210 on CW is killing you. Got to see Kelly Taylor in HD.

the only ting i like on cw is smackdown i have no need to watch the other garbage on the cw and the reason i said my network is because that is where it is going next month

also i can see my local cw station over the air if i want to watch the other garbage that is on the cw

move successful

my "move" to reno was successful i can see the stations.
i will leave it that way till csnnw is available on dish

one thing i want to make sure off before i leave this is where will the new smartcards go my "Reno NV" or my oregon address

The smart cards will go to your BILLING ADDRESS. Now any time you rma a receiver for a replacement or lnb , or remote control , you need to specify to send it to your BILLING ADDRESS or they WILL GO to your service address. I know from experience here.

Portland OR major networks are in HD and the spotbeam is big -so traveling if you are traveling or moving around in Oregon it is also an option. Also coverage in some parts of Washington state.

I am not moving or going for a rv trip i am staying oregon i just wanted other news.
i have almost all my locals from portland ota so having portland locals is a waste of money
I was able to keep guide info for ota portland locals after the change
also now oregon does not have any taxes on satellite when i changed the service address i got a little bit of state and county taxes but it was not bad

dish now says im leasing my recievers

Cincinnati Local HD Availability
