Howdy,
I get Hispasat 30w on a modified DTV slimline dish. SQ on my Neusat 6000 is 68 where a SQ of 42 is break-up point on the Neusat. I haven't tried my Coolsat 6000 or my FLU to check the SQ on them. My SQ holds pretty constant on the modified slimline(AU9) dish. I'm located on the Cumberland Plateau about 60 miles west of Knoxville, Tennessee. Lat. 35.9N and Lon. 85.1W. I just replaced the stock lnb cluster on the slimline with a linear lnb that looks like the old single circular DTV lnb. Focal point is right on with this type linear lnb using the stock support arm. Had to drill just one hole in the end of the slimline lnb support arm to attach the linear lnb. My elevation is 19.4, AZ 117.2, and skew is -48.5 for Hispasat for my location. I really like the slimline dish as it has fine tuning adjustment for elevation and azimuth. The slimline is about the same size as the superdish. The SQ on the slimline is about as good as my 3abn 90cm dish.
