Most of the questions I have are not new but I am new user and need all your help.

I am using Viewsat Extreme, and the following:
Allen Texas, 75013
Digipower SG-2100 DiSEqC Motor
Fortec 31" FS80P Dish
Invacom QPH-031

Declination #: 5.38

My long is 96.66
My lat is 33.1
Calculated dish elevation is 24.6 in this correct.

I set up 33 for the motor elevation, and the dish elevation is 24.6??
My true South is 175

1. Is this correct for my location?
Can someone please calculate and tell me the dish elevation.

2. how to position lnb on lnb bracket. DO I move it all the way back or in the middle or all the way to the front.
Right now I have it very close to where the signal enters the lnb. I have it towards the front on LNB. (sorry not very helpful)
My closet sat are Galaxy 3C 95 W or IA5 97W

Thanks

That is correct.

I'd move it all the way back as far away from the dish. You can always adjust as need be

Use IA5 since its 1/3 of a degree off your longitude

make sure to run a line from the L side of the LNB to the reciever directly bypassing the motor for the time being.

Make sure that you are using the proper scale on the sg-2100. Mine has an elevation scale on one side and a latitude scale on the other. With your latitude at 33.1 I would set the motor bracket at LATITUDE 33 degrees. If you need to use the motor elevation scale, that would be 57 degrees.
