Monoprice sound bar with Dish remote?

Has anyone out there purchased a Monoprice sound bar (For only $106.50 each when QTY 50+ purchased - 2.1-Channel Home Theater Sound Bar w/ 2.4GHz Wireless Subwoofer | Home Theater Speaker Systems) and gotten it to work with the power/volume of your Dish remote like you would a home stereo?

I'm thinking about buying this product, but that would be a deal killer for me.

What receiver do you have? The 722k/922 have a learning remote so that shouldn't be an issue. Not sure about the other models though. Maybe you can get a new remote that would work with the other models as well? Just a thought

In the room where the sound bar would be I only have a 612, so no learning remote there. :-/

You can pick up a 21.0 learning remote off ebay (yes, it will work with the 612). Many people have had problems with remotes and sound bars, even the known names. I would be prepared for it not to work, especially since we don't know who made it. So if you get it, better get the 21.0 as well.
