Why did the guy steal 2b ?
Now they take the bat out of the hands of thier hottest hitter.

He wanted everyone to have a free taco? Besides scoring position for Posey isn't bad at all. Especially with Posey is hitting the ball to the right side the past two games.

I DON'T believe they didn't throw to the plate.

I agree. Pence expands the zone ridiculously. They had three pitches to get him to chase instead of giving him something he could drive deep enough to score Pagan.

Not a problem ....
Going home, typically everything changes when one team goes up 2-0 and then travels.

If your a Giant fan, you EXPECT to win your home games, don't you ?

Yes, Tigers would like to go home 1-1, but isn't expected.

I'm also surprised after pounding the outside, that they didn't come inside hard after they had 2 strikes.

Back foot slider for a swinging strike three.

This post season, I haven't expected any early game wins at home. 2-0 is much better than 1-1 for us. But we need three more outs before we can talk about that.

I'm sure not ready to give up. The Tigers have played much better at home all season.

You got it ...

Tigers have been pathetic on the road this year and in the post season.

The Giants have lost the first 2 games of each of the prior series and went on to win. Maybe winning the first 2 means they will lose the series.

This series is far from over. But there is one thing we now know for sure: the Tigers will not be celebrating on their home field.

They split the first two in the NLCS. That aside, watching them this postseason has made it clear that a series is never over until a team records the last out in a clinching game. There's still a lot of baseball left, and as good as the Tigers have been, it'd be foolish for anyone to think otherwise. This was a very close game with the difference being the bullpens. Given the quality pitching both teams have going the next two games, I expect more tight games to come. Advantage Giants in those scenarios because of the bullpen difference.
