Nah, they walk him too, just like they would with Cabrera and Fielder if they have to an pitch to the next guy looking for the DP.

The Giants have lost the first 2 games of each of the prior series and went on to win. Maybe winning the first 2 means they will lose the series.

Yesterday set up by a ball bouncing off the 3b bag, tonight on a chopper bunt that followed the base line.

There's still a lot of baseball left, and as good as the Tigers have been, it'd be foolish for anyone to think otherwise. This was a very close game with the difference being the bullpens. Given the quality pitching both teams have going the next two games, I expect more tight games to come. Advantage Giants in those scenarios because of the bullpen difference.
