You know how many bars around me now use YouTube TV with personal accounts to show the games?

I know the DIRECTV dealers are going nuts as it’s costing them a lot of business and when they try turning in the bars DIRECTV does not care.

CNBC reported the reasons why bars were dropping DirecTV for YouTube, but reported it’s NFL, YouTube and Everpass promised to crack down on those bars

99% of the time- no. But I agree with him this time.. Netflix better not f**k up the Christmas Day game..

Probably not worth worrying about too much. Netflix has a really good postmortem procedure internally. They will already have measures ready to try to prevent future issues. I suspect that their Live infrastructure is not built quite like other companies doing Live streaming, and they needed to learn lessons already understood by others.

I also doubt that there will be as many people streaming these two games as there were with the Tyson/Paul fight. So there really shouldn't as much of a strain on their system.

I really hope it is, and Netflix gets out of the live sports business. One of the reasons I switched to streaming was to get away from paying for overpriced sports, and now it seems like most of the services I subscribe to have it. In this way, I feel like streaming has become the new cable. The only upside is I am still paying less than I used to.
