Looks like Mike and Molly is the new Rules of Engagement. It was renewed, but will be a midseason replacement.

Me too...been watching since day one and love the show
I started watching the "finale" for the first few minutes and kept saying to myself I know I have seen this one before haha...looked on here and got nothing so I went to imdb and found out about moving it because of the tradegy in oklahoma was similar to the finale

I couldn't stomach more than 5-minutes of this show, but the ratings were still pretty good (certainly a hit show on NBC or maybe FOX). Yet another victim of CBS' #1 prime time lineup. You know, I'm almost temped to stop watching CBS' new shows because they whack 'em even with 9-10 million weekly viewers. Doesn't CBS have a NBC Universal like channel where they could move the production of shows like The Defenders, Jericho, Mike & Molly, Ghost Whisperer, Numb3rs, Medium, etc. ad nauseum?
I love Mike & Molly! It's such a funny show. I will be looking forward to watching the new season. Melissa McCarthy is such a great actress and she is so darn funny too! I really enjoy the show and I'm glad people like it!!

"Molly Unleashed": Molly decides to leave her teaching career to become a writer.

Really liked it in the beginning season.
I haven't found it as interesting since they got married.
Absolutely despise her in several recent movies.
No longer watching since it returned.

Some of best materials was with cop partner, but they wore that out.
Then they made sister & mother interesting and gave them funny lines.
Think that's done.
His mother is a one-joke character that's well past it's expiration date.
Guess I'll blame the writers.

No they gave it a mid season debut date so they could show new shows ,but then they cancelled one new show that failed in ratings (We are Men) and so the premier date got moved up .
I don't think there is one grade school teacher out there that'll say they have a "good paying job". Teachers are among the most underpaid professions out there.
Okay let me rephrase it: Leaving a STEADY paying job for a maybe career is a recipe for disaster.
Anyone else think this season sucks compared to previous seasons? I know it's a comedy but they've turned Molly into a complete goof ball.
Definitely . They found out she does slap stick in her movies and decided to try to capitalize on it on the tv show. I hate the direction that they have taken and to be honest if they decide to cancel it , it wouldn't bother me. They shouldn't of messed with what was working for them.
Will Mike & Molly have a full 22-episode season this year like it did last season, or will it be shortened?
